SafePresence Audio Attendant

A simple system that uses easy voice-to-voice communication so the carer can be out of the room and still in touch with the patient. The variety of options available on the SafePresence Audio Attendant allow carers to change the monitoring and audio settings to meet the needs of each patient as the health status of the patient changes.

The basic system includes a Base Station Monitor that is placed in the patient’s room. The carer uses a receiver that can be clipped to the belt or placed on a counter. Carers always have the ability to talk to a patient by pressing the Talk Button on the receiver. The carer and the patient decide the appropriate audio setting and choose between:

• No Audio – Allows complete patient privacy
• Push to Talk – Allows the patient to communicate with the carer whenever they need to
• Always On – Allows the carer to hear the patient at all times

A variety of monitoring options integrate easily with the SafePresence Audio Attendant. Those options include

• Chair and bed sensor pads
• Floor sensor mats
• Three different call cords

A Sensor Select Switch allows you to choose between floor sensor mats or bed and chair sensor pads to monitor persons who wander or who are at risk for falls.

SafePresence CareHub

Providers that offer care in smaller home-like settings, or larger facilities needing additional coverage, are good candidates for the CareHub. It  provides the right level of communication and patient monitoring and is scalable – start with the basic call system with a call cord and add wireless fall or wander sensors when needed.

The SafePresence CareHub System is a wireless system that is easy to set up and easy to use.  The CareHub System can be used as a standalone nurse call system or integrated with other products to provide remote alerts for fall prevention monitors and wander alerts.

CareHub transmitters can be used for both falls and wander programmes. CareHub bed and chair transmitters have a built-in delay and connect directly to SafePresence bed or chair sensor pads. Staff is alerted when the patient moves off the bed. The CareHub floor transmitters connect to floor sensor mats. The alarm sounds immediately when someone steps on the mat.

SafePresence Hook-Up Wireless Receiver Link

The SafePresence Hook-Up is a small mains powered wireless receiver which can be connected directly to an existing nurse call system.

If a current nurse call system does not allow patient monitoring  for falls or wandering or does not provide full facility coverage, expand capabilities by adding the SafePresence Hook-up. The Hook-up offers a wireless connection directly from SafePresence bed or chair sensor pads, floor sensor mats, or other monitoring options to an existing hard-wired nurse call system or SafePresence CareHub system. Installation is easy and options can be added as needed.

SafePresence Not Back in Bed Alert

It’s not unusual for people to get up in the middle of the night. But what if something happens and they don’t make it safely back to bed? The discreet Not-Back-In-Bed Alert  lets staff know so they can be ready to help.  This versatile monitor can also be used with SafePresence Bed or Chair pads to monitor people at risk for falls.

• 10, 20, 60 minute delay intervals
• Pre-alert 5 minutes before the caregiver alert sounds
• Powered by 3 AAA batteries or mains power adapter
• Low battery alert
